Hi everyone,
It wasn't completely clear on what our recycling service accepted, so
attached are a couple of PDFs with more information.
Things that I learned:
1. Steel (tin) cans CAN be recycled
2. Styrofoam CANNOT be recycled
3. Plastic grocery bags CANNOT be recycled
4. Pesticide/Acid/Motor Oil plastic containers CANNOT be recycled
It costs the HOA money to offer recycling, however, it's only a fraction
of the cost of sending the same items to the landfill. Our recycling
costs are about $220 per month.
