Hi everyone,
This list is in place to let neighbors communicate important information
to each other. For example:
1. There has been a crime in the neighborhood, and the police have been
called.
2. A high rise storage unit is being built next to our property, let's
do something about it.
3. We may be able to have Google Fiber installed, let's organize.
4. Reminder that the annual HOA meeting is coming up...
5. The dumpster is broken again, so don't use it.
6. The front gate is broken again and will be fixed Tuesday.
7. What exterior light fixture can we use?
8. Any recommendations on a replacement refrigerator?
9. Some keys were found at the mailbox area.
10. We should do something about cars blocking the dumpster on Hilliard
St.
11. Reminder not to dispose of large items near the dumpster.
12. Here are January's meeting minutes.
You are not obligated to be a list member, however, if you don't want to
be on this list, then you risk missing out on useful and potentially
important information. Email me directly if you want to be removed.
This list is not here to vent your frustrations:
1. Neighbor abusing guest parking or other rules.
There is an established procedure for towing cars. In non-emergency
situations, it is best to contact a board member or Dennis. They can
quickly figure out if a notice or tow is appropriate. If you have the
car towed through your own actions, then you can potentially open
yourself up to legal liability. In any case, specific parking issues
don't concern most neighbors, so this list should not be used.
2. Threatening someone in the community with legal or other action.
If you have an issue with a neighbor, board member, or property
management company, then you should address those issues with them
directly or use another forum.
3. General negativity about the neighborhood.
Most of us live here, because we like the neighborhood. If you have
negative feelings about the neighborhood, then focus your energy on
making positive improvements.
4. Insulting someone or cursing...
You might think that using good manners would be obvious, but sometimes
we need reminding.
Posting to the list is a privilege and not a right. Please be a good
neighbor.
