Hi Neighbors!
The compactor is now back in place and properly working. The temporary
dumpster will be removed by tomorrow. To ensure the community does not
incurre additional costs please take a moment to review the trash and
compactor etiquette that was distributed to everyone's doors a few weeks
ago:
- Please place trash all the way into the compactor. Push the button to
run the compactor.
- All trash must be bagged and sealed before being placed in the
compactor.
- Do not leave boxes or trash bags outside of the compactor.
- If he compactor is full or not working, please take your trash home and
email the community to let them know. Keep in mind you might be the first
person to know there is an issue.
- Please do not abandon any furniture, large appliances, or TV boxes in
the compactor or the recycle area.
- All boxes must be broken down.
- No paint or chemicals are allowed to be thrown in the compactor.
- Any large items will require an additional fee to be removed.
- Contact Goodwill (404.367.0077) or other charities for pick-ups when
needed.
*Regarding extermination:*
In regards to the rats, CMA is aware of the problem and has engaged another
exterminating company. In conjunction with the new exterminators, a plan
is being worked for both short term and long term to eradicate the rats.
Exterminators will be back out tomorrow as we have identified an area where
the rats seem to live. This will not resolve the rat invasion immediately,
but will be the beginning of a very aggressive approach to eliminate them.
The next board meeting will be Monday, July 10th at 6:30pm in the
clubhouse.
