Hi Jullian,
There are three steps for you to get Google Fiber service:
1. Google will come and install equipment in our homes and neighborhood
2. Google will build infrastructure along streets and connect our
neighborhood
3. You eventually sign up for the service when it becomes available if
you choose to do so
Right now, we're in the planning stages for step 1. In order to
succeed, we need the cooperation of all of our neighbors, as this is a
team effort. For example, if you live in the middle of a building and
your neighbors don't cooperate, then you will be unable to get fiber
equipment installed in your unit.
Each building has been assigned a captain for this project. Their job
is to spread awareness of this project, get everyone's contact
information for their building, and eventually coordinate an
installation date for their building. If you are motivated by the idea
of having Google Fiber service in your unit, we welcome you to volunteer
some time with this project, even if your building already has a team
captain.
Installation is currently expected to take place some time between 9/19
and 10/28. The captains will be meeting in the clubhouse this upcoming
Monday at 7PM to form a plan to make sure we have everyone's contact
information and spread awareness. For example, I live in the 700
building and only have contact information for 70% of my building. Some
neighbors have not been responsive to a couple of paper notes that I
left on their door for their contact information. Without their
cooperation, the left half of the building (or even the entire building)
might not get Google Fiber. I will probably need to do a few door
knocking campaigns soon.
Attached is a document with more information that was sent out on June
3rd. There have been a few new subscribers to this mailing list in the
meantime.

Hello Everyone,
I just got an email about upcoming availability of Google Fiber in our area.
I was wondering when the expected date we would be able to sign up, so I
called Google and they told me to get in contact with our community property
manager because it seemed that a contract had already been established. Has
anyone else heard any information about this? And can anyone tell me the name
and contact info of our property manager?
