Good Afternoon Highland Residents,
*ROAD CLOSURES*We received a notice of filming, which will require lane and
road closures for the production “Brooklyn” that will likely impact the
residents. Please see the attached PDF of the Road Closures and other
additional information.
*FULTON COUNTY PROPERTY TAX ASSESSMENTS*As many of you already know, Fulton
County mailed their assessments last Tuesday. A significant increase is
anticipated due to the inability to raise them last year & a continuing
increase in property value.
If you disagree with the Current Year Value on your 2018 assessment notice,
you may file an appeal using the link below. *You have 45 days from the
date of the notice and a deadline date should be printed on the notice that
is mailed.*
Keep in mind; if you wish to file an appeal, you will need to prepare
strong evidence to counteract their decision.
