Thanks for the quote. I approve.
It may inflate labor time but overall I’m good with it. I am not necessarily
convinced that we are servicing machines quarterly or I would have expected
these issues to have been recommended earlier. Also, how did they access the
gym? Can the board be notified when the types of services come up or have been
completed/billed?

At first glance, $768 to refresh the Life Fit 3 gym can seem high. Keep in
mind that it is commercial equipment that has a very long life expectancy. If
we wanted to replace the equipment, it would cost $5,750. In this case, we're
only paying 14% of the replacement cost to fix broken parts. The labor portion
is $80, which I think is reasonable.
The quote mentions nothing about repairs to treadmills or other machines.
Since they were out there to generate the quote, they either considered the
equipment to be fine, or they already service that equipment once or twice a
year. I do think the treadmills and elliptical machine are fine though. Clara
is working to get us an answer on how often (or if) the treadmills, bike, and
elliptical machine get serviced.
