Andy,
I did the banquet last year and will do so again this year. For those who
are new, the event is great fun and the banquet is a great way to cap things
off. Attached is a first draft of the banquet flyer so you have an idea of
what it is like. Typically we’ll have good food/drink, an entertaining video
from the juniors, awards from the contest, club awards, and NSM awards. I’ll
send an update on the banquet plans and call for reservations in the coming
weeks (once I get the menu and costs set).
Cheers,
- Doug

I was the manager last year. It was scheduling tow pilots, finding people to
work the usual shifts for log and score keeping, making sure there was plenty
of hot drinks and all the little odds and ends such as measuring tapes, radios,
fresh paint markings and some crockpots of chilly or soups were there. I have a
folder with info in it I will be happy to send out to whom ever.

Hi everyone. I heard that the Octoberfest was well attended and a great time.
I've also noticed that there's a lot of good momentum within the club these
days. Snowbird is about 6 weeks away if you can believe it. Let's do everything
we can to make it rage this year. first and foremost we need a contest manager.
We also need last year's snowbird manager to give us some insight into
everything they did. does anyone remember who managed snowbird last year?
So please, if you are interested in coordinating the snowbird let us/me/the
board know immediately.
Thanks!
