Yesterday the weather was beautiful, I saw ONE cloud, and had about a 20
knot tailwind most of the day. Yesterday was all about airspace and
terrain, so there was some zigzagging to stay comfortable. I was hoping to
cover 1000 miles, but some frost held me up for about an hour in the
morning. Today was much more technical due to weather. Creeping along as
the system producing LIFR drags its heels NE. Probably calling it quits for
the day in Joplin MO. Only got 395 miles today.
