All Members,
It’s time to start flying!
If all the club members observe current social protocols set by the governor,
we should be able to start flying on a limited basis. We have outlined the
requirements for using HHSC equipment.
All scheduled club duty for May has been cancelled.
All flying will be private, no commercial rides.
Members should use the 'freelist' to communicate/ask for "who wants to fly
tomorrow"...
Just a reminder, club members cannot fly unless they have completed the Safety
Meeting in person, participated during the Zoom presentation or gotten with and
instructor to review. A fourth option is to review it on our website and notify
Joe May.
The TOW PILOT is responsible for operations, safety, and 'authority' on the
field.
Patrick Parks is using our scheduling tool for tow pilots to volunteer which
could allow Saturday and Sunday flying.
Pilots will be responsible for their own time recording or pilots waiting to
fly can help!
The only aircraft that can be flown:
(#3) 2-33 red (Flyable next week)
#11 ASK-21
THE 1-26
Super Cub 18K
Pawnee 49P
The cockpits must be cleaned before and after use. Materials for cleaning will
not be provided. Bring your own.
Please review this link to better understand how to sanitize the aircraft.

When can two pilots fly together in the same aircraft? This is only authorized
for families that are practicing the state’s “shelter at home” mandate. Most
flights will be with one person in each aircraft!
Individuals may have access to the airfield so long as there are no gatherings
of any kind and appropriate social distancing of six feet between individuals
is strictly observed. Mask usage.... Governor Cuomo issued executive orders
requiring all people in New York to cover their nose and mouth with a mask or
cloth face-covering when in a public place and unable to maintain, or when not
maintaining, social distance.
The Flight Center is closed to the general public and HHSC gatherings in May,
except for bathrooms.
Time to get current.....Fly!
