Greetings All HHSC Aviators;
HHSC Ground School is in full swing for 2020.
The HHSC winter ground school will start on Saturday, 18 Jan at 10:00 AM.   We
intend to conduct eight sessions on Saturday mornings from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM in
the Flight Center.   The curriculum will be a combination of Russel Holtz’s
books on soaring and the curriculum Harris Hill has listed on the website.
Russel Holtz wrote The Glider Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge and
contains all of the information that a student must learn to meet the FAA
requirements, to pass the FAA written test, and to pass the SSA bronze badge
written test.
Multiple instructors and guests speakers will present over the coming weeks to
include Dick Welles, Roy, Heinz and others.   We look forward to you joining

Last week we had over 20 members and

guests in attendance.
So shake off the winter doldrums, and come join us at the new Flight Center,
complete with breakfast snacks and coffee, hosted by Karin.
