Greetings HH club,

In anticipation for the 2020 soaring season, we (BoD) are going to be
introducing some new processes, communications, tacking, etc. to help keep
things organized, efficient, and most important SAFE!

One new item will be the "Letter of X's" document.  (An example of the document
is below)
The idea is to have this hanging in the office for any member to quickly review
and ensure that people are performing correct duties and flying appropriate
aircraft.  It's also vital that we maintain our level of currency as pilots and
there is a spot in the document to track that as well.

The goal is to empower any member to help ensure we are operating correctly and
SAFELY, by having this document available you will have the information to
approach an individual if you are uncertain about any of their "credentials"
thus potentially preventing an unsafe and/or poor judgement situation...

As the duty scheduler for the club, I have volunteered to maintain this
document.  I will have the only official document electronically and will ONLY
update the document when informed to do so by our "chief CFI" (who will be
determined...).  They will inform me of a new rating, checkout in particular
glider, etc.  I will then print out a new hardcopy and replace in the office.
If there are other pieces of information needed, such as your currency status I
will reach out to you directly.

To help get this going, could I trouble you to answer the questions below so I
can fill out the form initially.  I will have a copy at each of the annual
safety meetings in the spring for corrections and to verify your attendance.
