Well the title should tell ya what happened here...Or a Good hint!

Last night, Had some fun with a friend on 10 meters, Messing around with the Moxon on my end and he with a Simple Horizontal Dipole, we had some fun Chatting and seeing what the Bare minimum we could work each other. When we were done, I spun the dial down to 28.238, Set the rig on CW and Hit the Pico Keyer...Beeping away, Pointing at Europe, I left for the house.

I turned on my 10 meter HT- YES I have one, Its a lot of fun. Its also set to listen for any troubles on the Beacon Freq...I hear the beacon- But its splatter...Is my Rit turned...NO- OMG! I scroll through the band and it was at 28.465,6,7,8...What the HECK? In my bathrobe, Running for the station, Grass turning brown behind my wake of Swear words...A speaker fell over , onto the mic's Freq up button. I guess a Mouse or Gopher rat came looking for a errant Worther's I am always eating! I was relieved to hear dead air as I turned the VFO back down...AND LOCKED THE DIAL!

So- the moral of the story? Weird things CAN happen to the best of us , Or the worse. Keep a eye on your transmitters!

Now to get my pulse rate under 500 !....It's 12:14 now- I think I can be forgiven for a Beer or two on Sunday!
