With three relatively big spots on the visible disk, things might improve indeed. Today, WA6APQ came in with 9dB SNR. K5AB made a few appearances

The DX show lasted only for about 1 hour but that's better than no DX.

Mahalo Denny.,
fT8 was going crazy here on 10 meters too. I just watched because I didn't want to QRM my beacon scanner but I was itching to get on SSB too. I would have gone for  a cruse in my van but just had shoulder surgery.

I'm beginning to see a change in 10 meters. The frequent "Summer"  E's have all but disappeared. Most never seemed to go beyond about 1,000 miles. But
in their place, I'm beginning to see F2, although it is less frequent than the recent Es. Additionally, I'm seeking transequitorial  (TE) skip between the US and South America.
After the new zulu day I spotted the following beacons:
NH6HI 0001z (way to go Jim for numerous spors)
XE1RCS/B.  0030z
XE1FAS.  0030z
Take a look at the world 10 meter map at the F2 skip patterns, courtesy of DXMAPS.     73 DENNY,WI5V
