Dave,
you are right, OH9TEN at 1818 UT is special, and we in Europe got KP3FT at
1738 UT, far too late for normal.
It reminds me abt a discussion of this special phenomena here on HF beacons
several years ago where 10m propagation across or near the North Pole was
involved. But I don't remember the name it has.
