Right now at 7:20 PM EST in eastern Massachusetts I'm receiving a beacon at
~28.255 MHz (no ID decoded yet) that is sometimes fading slowly but often
really way above the noise. Antenna is a piece of hookup wire strung in the
room.
DXmaps.com is loaded in the entire eastern half of the country and there is
even a contact shown to Australia which ain't bad.
Bill, when you have these late afternoon signals please remember to mention if
you listened earlier and had no results.

Good Afternoon,
Last time I had this many in my log was 4 December 2019. A bit of noise on the
band and I had a couple of signals so deep that I couldn't ID. Hooray! I caught
the Texas to Canada path....Doesn't happen too often.
20:30-20:52 Z, 9 January 2020 I can hear/identify 21 ten meter beacon signals
into EL71as.
