Subject: [HFbeacons] Beacons 26 Dec 15  1931Z-2022Z

To: HF beacons

Wow…what a difference in propagation a day makes!  I haven’t heard many of
these beacons since I was in Oregon and most of these are new for (except the
Pacific NW ones.)  Am listening to WJ5O pounding in here as I type at 559, but
interestingly, most of the signals have the ‘watery/raspy’ sound of Aurora on
them now.  Nice to hear the Midwest and closer in stations down here in Texas.
(Question: On approximately 28.210, there was a station just sending constant
N’s and ID’ed once that I heard in 15 minutes (think it was WA4SZE??)—is this a
legit beacon or somebody ‘playing’?!  Just curious…) 73, Ed K7OC  EM12  White
