Bill, Thank you for the mail. The only reason I referred to Flagstaff, Az was having swapped e-mails with a resident amateur I knew a little about the place, and to live at twice the height of the UK's highest mountain seemed unique hi! He was an interesting guy being a pilot who flew various medical consultants / specialists to outlying clinics in a small jet, operating ham radio and taking photographs whilst hanging around waiting for them, he got paid as well !!!!! I guess that I really missed the ' big picture ' with the remote receiver link you sent, thinking in terms of just curiosity to hear what goes on in another location, those without home receivers having passed me by, sorry. CW is not my first love by a long shot so I myself do have to take a few ' replays '. especially on some of the odd beacon ' preambles ' which throw me hi! Though 28MHz was excellent all daylight hours here the beacons heard were mainly repeat loggings, just OH9TEN and DB0FKS being new ones. There was an ' amusing ' interlude at 1342 gmt on 28.300 when DM2TA/P was working various stations on ssb !!!!! Regards, 72, Brian, G0NSL-QRP.
