Hi Mark,
*Nice to hear from you....I knew that I hadn't logged your beacon signal
for a l o n g time. Rodents can really play havoc if they are around.*
*Looking forward to logging your beacon many times in the future. Cycle 25
is breaking out of its shell....I just logged 34 my greyline this evening.*

Decided to work on the beacon today. Had good VSWR out of the
transmitter. Went to antenna and checked it there and found no RF out.
Cut the connector off and stripped it back and found green coax. Also it
appears it was a snack for rodents. I switched out to the Delta Loop as a
temporary antenna. Will keep looking to see if I am heard. There is a
chance that rodents have damaged it as well but I do plan on new run of
coax and maybe relocation of the antenna.

I bet it was pretty weak too. As you know I do not have the best setup
for a good take off angle as the antenna is still strapped to the deck. I
might have to take time off to get a better set up.
