I thought with the solar flux at 111, 10m might yield a few beacons. I did
manage to hear WB5DYG's local beacon on .2128. It appears that the SF needs to
be >105 for me to hear it. It's all very strange, and conversions with the
gurus at ARRL haven't revealed any insights as to how local "propagation"
affects a low power beacon 6 miles/10km distant. NVIS has been suggested, but
10km seens to be much too close for that mode. Especially on 10m.
