A so-so day on the band. Only one IARU beacon copied. Canadian beacons behaving unusually. VE3DJI at S1, but VA3KAH missing. VE2REA audible, but VE3TEN very weak. No Mexican beacons heard; so the Es opening evaporated. With the SF at 171, I would have expected much better conditions. Spaceweather.com reports a large coronal hole, but it's too soon for a CME to have reached us. Oh well, it was what it was!
