Christine has just successfully uploaded the first year (1957) of Excel
spreadsheet to pCloud.
Everything looks good so far and already it will be a great help when we're
searching for negatives and stories for enquirers (I hope to re-start the
archive searches this week now that lockdown is over - I have several pages
of questions!)
I will probably conduct a trial conversion of the spreadsheet to a database
soon to see how it will work. This won't be the final product as that will
hopefully be done by Surrey History Centre or the Museum of Farnham but will
give us something we can use and search easily.
Once that is done I should be able to give you all a copy of the database
software so that you can each give it a try - if you are interested of
course. Won't be very soon but it's another project to add to my list.
