'morning Chris
Thanks for this. It will give me something different to think about!!!
I have downloaded both parts but I shan't be finishing part one anytime
soon so if someone is in need of work pass part two to them but please
let me know so I can delete it from my computer.
August 10th sounds good to me. I haven't been up Castle Street for ages
and I'm guessing the golf club is by the cricket green (or has that
gone)?
Thanks again,
Patsy

Hi Patsy,
Good to hear from you – I hope things are improving.
You will find 1972 at
https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=kZgirPXZPbEsAMdfiXVQplrEjgvpdQva7i1y
<https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=kZgirPXZPbEsAMdfiXVQplrEjgvpdQva7i1y>
You will see it is in two parts – you can combine into one spreadsheet
or do them separately – entirely up to you.
I don’t think you will find much difference with your previous volumes
but if so just shout.
Thanks,
Chris

Good morning Chris,
I don't have anything at present so can make a start on '72.
I may need a bit of help as I believe the layout has changed from the
last one I submitted for 1985 - 1987.
Regards,
Patsy

Dear all,
Tony has just completed the scanning of 1972 and it is now available for
whoever wants to make a start on it (or two can share it as it’s in two
parts).
However I’d just like to check where everybody is with the volumes you
are now working on:
I believe Karen and Christine are currently sharing 1971
Peter has 1968
Rosemary is on 1970
Tony has 1978
Patsy ?
Please can you check that list and confirm or correct as necessary.
The books have come through in a rather mixed order because of their
accessibility at the museum so I need to do an audit to see which
volumes haven’t yet been in front of Tony’s camera yet.
Obviously with the better weather (!!!) everybody is getting outside
more and that has slowed things up a little. How ever I am not at all
worried about that so please make the best of this wonderful summer – we
are already way ahead of where I ever thought we would get.
I haven’t scheduled another Zoom meeting at present but how does
everybody feel about meeting up for coffee (or tea) somewhere locally
soon? Ideally outside – perhaps the golf club café in Farnham Park where
there is free parking and outside or inside tables to suit the weather.
Please let me have your thoughts.
Unfortunately the archive requests side that I deal with has slowed down
somewhat. This is because of changes at the Herald meaning I’ve
currently got no assistance with retrieving the volumes from the cellar.
Also the museum is between assistant curators to help access the
negative collection but I’m pleased to report that I now have the keys
to the store so can go along whenever I want. But just to top that we
currently have builders in at home so getting to either place is rather
problematic at the moment. The situation will improve very soon though.
There is a long list of requests and more coming in frequently so what
you are all achieving is still much in demand.
Please can you let have your thought about another meeting soon and
confirm the volumes you are currently working on.
Thanks,
Chris
