Hi Christine,
Green Lane Hospital was the old isolation and infectious diseases hospital in
what is now Bardsley Drive. During the 1980s the old hospital became disused
and instead they built some self-contained units behind as sheltered housing
for special needs and vulnerable people and that was called Greenfield Hospital.
Eventually it was all demolished and Council(?) housing built on both sites.
