Hi Christine
Not sure if I can do any better than Gwyneth.
Here’s my go…
1. … Have a smoke: out of Cig Box Presented to [Council – I think] – that
wouldn’t happen today!
2. I think it started out as … by I.. so I think you’re right it’s
scribbled out
3. Very difficult it’s definitely written very much like: loolting. - The
only sense I can make of it is if the Town Crier is touting Maltings. He/she
(to be politicly correct) is not anywhere near the Maltings, so can’t be
associated with an act therein.
Hopefully helps a bit.
Tony

Subject: [heraldnegindex] A few queries from 1969
Morning all, just a few to get us started today .......
1. Negs 7764/5 Presentation to Mr & Mrs Poole at Council Offices, also ?????
box. Looking at the description it looks like Ag Box?
2. Same screenshot, neg 7770 In the description box ???? Presentation. I
wasn't sure if this was just a scribble?
3. Neg 7798 Town Crier in Farnham ???? Maltings (looks like looting, which I
hope isn't the case!)
Many thanks, Christine
