We're running a few months behind here, movie wise, in the UK. I

Speaking of which, the GREAT Joaquin Phoenix has a decent interview
in the usually dire The Face magazine, though the interviewer is a bit
of an arsehole asking Joaquin repeated questions about River even
though he already knew such a line of questioning would upset him.
Am I alone in thinking that Joaquin was the best thing about
'Gladiator'? "It vexes me... I'm terribly vexed". Still gives me a
smile.
Kate Winslet has been placed (joint) 391st in the Sunday Times'
'Britain's highest earners'. She's earned 2m this year apparently.
That's behind Minnie Driver (295th 2.75m), behind Catherine Zeta
Jones - don't get me started - (323rd 2.5m) but ahead of Ewan McGregor
(497th 1.5m). For those that are interested. Which is nobody
(secretly: everybody).
Finally, for Puccini, and opera lovers, The Wu-Tang Clan have dropped
da bom: 'The W'. Phat phukkin' BEATS! Blunted choonz! Be-YATCH!!!
Admittedly Ol' Dirty Bastard is conspicuous by his absense, but cuts
like 'Let My Niggas Live' and 'One Blood Under W' make up for it.
