hello ... new to the list.
early in 1995 my late wife said that there was a movie
pulling at her. as an ex-actress, she had startling
intuitions, so we went. it was called "heavenly
creatures," and on that day we entered another world.
i've really not left since. "heavenly creatures" - and
the entire parker/hulme phenomenon - is one of the
touchstones and central myths of my life.
rather than carry on about it at length, here's my
most recent livejournal - a lengthy thing about some
self-realizations i had centering on "heavenly
creatures."
