I jus noticed this new post to the Melanie Lynskey Fan Club (at Yahoo)
site from Mark Tapio Kines (who of course directed Mel in "Foreign
Correspondents"!
"I got email from Mel last week. She recently costarred in an ABC
miniseries called "Rose Red." It is a Stephen King thing. It
will air pretty
far in the future - February 2002, in fact - but there it is.
"Foreign Correspondents" will be viewable before then. I
believe I
mentioned that Showtime will air it on their "Generation Y
Network" on
April 1, 2001. It's a done deal as far as I know.
For those of you living in Southern California: if you can make
it out to
Temecula next weekend, "ForCor" will screen as part of their
film festival.
Friday the 15th at 8:30pm, Saturday the 16th at 11:00am. (I
will be there
at the Friday screening. No Mel appearances, sorry.) If anyone
is interested
in attending, please email me at the "ForCor" site and I will
give you more
details.
Finally, Mel has made no mention to me yet of appearing on
"Angel," so
for now any rumors remain just that."
Hmm, I sure hope Mel is indeed gonna be on "Angel"! I'm more of a Buffy
fan, but Joss Whedon in general is a master.

P.S. In case it didn't get mentioned on here, Kate's new movie "Quills"
just premiered at the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, the one
review from there that I've read is quite positive, tis here:

If anyone else has any reviews from this fest, please do share em!
