As a follow-up to our discussion at our pastors meeting of "Impact Kentucky" which is coming to western Kentucky on August 24th, please find attached a sheet that you can use to submit projects in your community to be done that day by volunteers from all over our conference. At the pastors' meeting, we asked that each county try to identify a "point person," preferably lay, that would work with our district coordinator for "Impact Kentucky," Sally Salmon, who is working with the conference team. We found out on Tuesday that the deadline for submitting projects to be done on August 24th is May 12th to the district office. This will enable the projects to be posted on the conference website so that persons from all over our conference can sign up for these projects when they register for "Impact Kentucky." ***THEREFORE--Time is of the essence! Please use the attached form to submit your community projects to the district office no later than May 12th! As you all know, most of the time, our district folks have to travel great distances to participate in conference-wide events. This time, the conference is coming to us!
