I use Collidescape tape https://www.collidescape.org/. It’s a bit time ;
intensive to apply – I do it in vertical striped 4” apart – but we used to have
a lot of collisions and this has helped greatly. ABC (American Bird
Conservancy) also sells window tape which I believe is slightly less expensive
but it shows ups more. You get used to looking through windows with tape on
them and it really doesn’t bother me though you have to be careful if you take
a photo out the window to have your camera lens behind an open spot. I have one
window that is half ABC tape and half Collidescape and the Collidescape side is
much nicer. I switched after someone (maybe Anita) recommended Collidescape.

p.s. Part of our problem is feeder placement - we have one feeder that is too
close to the house and I taped up the windows on that side first – so be sure
if you have feeders that they are either within a couple of feet of the house
or over 30’ away.

Hi all,
Have any of you tried these to prevent birds from flying into your windows?
Thanks for any advice.
