Hi Bob: (I am also trying this email address in case the other one given
to me does not work).
You may or may not remember that I wrote to you some time ago asking
about the specifics of your Audubon student research program. Since
that time, we at the Mecklenburg Audubon Society have started a similar
program, and it has been successfully running for three years.
However, another small issue has come up and I write to see how you have
dealt with this. We have one student who we funded, and the money from
this grant went solely to the purchase of a video camera (to be used in
filming bird feeding behavior). So her adviser has asked: who does this
camera belong to when the project is finished: the student, or the
university?
Have you had this issue develop when you have funded equipment? And if
so, I would appreciate hearing how you have dealt with this (student or
university?).
