Ronald, Thanks for the clearification. Don't forget that this area has been Danish for 700 years and Swedish 'only' for 300 years, and that the meaning of 'rå' can be Danish. - Although, I think that it is 'rådyr', that is the right source. Chalmers Tekniska Högskola og Forsvarets Materialverk experimented with long wave commmunications with submerged submarines in the late 40' - beginning of the 50' somewhere down the Swedish West Coast. This research was ultra secret, but I don't know where it was conducted. From the late 60' and onwards I sailed with a small Folkbåt up and down the Swedish and Norwegian coastline, down to Smögen and Lysekil. I can't rembember being ever 'restricted' in any way. I was close to getting married in Smögen, bu the way.
