Hallo Wilko, Sorry for answering with some delay. The Vulkaneifel is part of the Eifel. I am living at the border of the "Nordeifel" (go to http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bild:Eifelkarte.gif) close to the crossing of Autobahn 1 and Autobahn 61. The Vulkaneifel, as you can see on the map, is a some way to the south. The national parc Eifel is closer to us in the southwest.
