Just for the record: I installed ubuntu and checked /proc/interrupts, but the
driver doesn't load, it reports an error into syslog reporting that it can't
acquire irq 0.
So it seems that the same is happening in linux too. (btw I'm certain that I
was using wifi under an older version of ubuntu on this laptop)
I tried many kernel parameters: noapic, nolapic, pci=nomsi, acpi=off and their
combinations, nothing helped. And unfortunately, the rt2x00pci driver doesn't
have
an irq parameter to pass.

So I guess I'll try to hardcode the irq number into the Haiku driver and see
what happens.

cheers,
Peter
