For website admins, you can see the various "Input formats" here:
http://www.haiku-os.org/admin/settings/filters
The default is the "Text w/limited HTML" which currently supports the following:
Allowed HTML tags: <a> <em> <strong> <img> <i> <b> <u> <cite> <pre>
<code> <ul> <ol> <li> <dl> <dt> <dd> <p> <br /> <br> <table> <td> <tr>
<h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <blockquote> <div> <span>
