Hi,
I tried to replicate and can confirm.
I did a small Google search and found out that this issue has
something to do with discourse.
I found out two potential reasons because of which this can happen:
1. discourse has "1-click-upgrade" which if fails can lead to this
issue.
2. Issue with redirects.
Also, I found one old mail from May when I tried to reset the pass,
the reset URL was
https://discuss.haiku-os.org/users/password-reset/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
whereas the reset URL now is
https://discuss.haiku-os.org/u/password-reset/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
it a valid password reset ID results in the 404 page reported.
I'll dig into it to try and figure out what is going on. Like you said,
likely
a database schema upgrade issue.
still no
love.
Asking the discourse developers, hopefully, i'll have some troubleshooting
info
soon.
Heyyy... I figured it out. Forgot to recompile my assets after the upgrades.
rake assets:precompile seems to have fixed it. I added that step to our
upgrade docs.
Should be working now :-)
