[openbeos] SVN in Haiku

Could anyone tell me if it's possible to get SVN working in Haiku? I've
tried the version posted at Haiku's website and am getting the following
errors:
svn: error: cannot set LC_ALL locale
svn: error: environment variable LANG is not set
svn error: please check that your locale name is correct
I've tried exporting EN=us to the environment, but it didn't seem to do
anything. You could test it on the Vmware

Haikuware, it has most of the developer tools on it, and would be nice
to
have SVN working.
