Hi all,Thanks to revision 23656 (thank you Axeld !), i am now able to compile the full freepascal source tree under Haiku !
Freepascal is not as complex as gcc. Nevertherless, i think it is a good step to the R1/alpha milestone as it is more than 100 MB of sources.
A problem still remains when the build system prepare a zip file with all the generated binaries. But i need to find a smaller test case to avoid donwloading the freepascal source tree to reproduce it.
As a bonus point, thanks to jackburton's work on the Terminal this week (and probably others on other parts of the system that i could not credit directly), i can even show you a screenshot of a complete IDE compiled and running under Haiku ! This is a text mode one, but still an IDE !
The screen shot is here : http://olivier.coursiere.free.fr/images/freepascal_ide.png.
The terminal shows the Freepascal IDE. It is currently debugging a program. You can see syntax highlighting, the current line of code being executed and the Watches window.
Keep up the good work ! Olivier
