Hmmm. I tried the makebootable, but I'm not sure what you mean by setting the BeOS partition up as a DOS one. Could you elaborate? It is BFS (0xEB) after all, and that's exactly the error message that GRUB gives me. "Unrecognized file system type 0xeb." Thanks for any tips and pointers....
