At the moment I'm only involved with the user guide (translations),
using Vincent Duvert's translation tool at http://userguide.haikuzone.net/.
Language specific discussions, for user guide translations and system
localization, are supposed to be held on the haiku-i18n-?? mailing
lists. General user guide discussions are held at the haiku-docs
mailing list. Maybe general translation topics could be held there as
well in order to avoid another mailing list, like haiku-i18n.
The user guide translations use the wiki at http://dev.haiku-os.org/wiki/i18n
to address language specific style and terminology. At the moment the
"Info" page only addresses the user guide translation. It could be
ammended with a system localizing chapter. The "Terminology" page could
be used by both parties, the "Styleguide" page less so IMO. Maybe could
add a specific "Locale-Style" page that can take what's sensible from
the "Styleguide".
Only the user guide "Language Managers" have write access to the wiki.
Additions are supposed to be discussed on the mailing list. Maybe the
localization team should elect their own Localization Manager (which
could already be the user guide LM, if he's involved there too) to care
about that side of things.
