To conclude this topic, here's what I found out with Colin's help. * Make sure the right firmware is in the correctly named folder. * Set /both/ wired ethernet and the wifi interface to "DHCP". * After the first connection to the wifi router you can white-list the MAC address of your wifi card (depending on your router model) and enable MAC filtering for a minumim of security. * Be patient, the negotiation between Haiku and the router can take a while. I'm happy to report that my "Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG [Golan] Network Connection (device 4222)" works flawlessly with my unencrypted wifi router (Fritz!box 7020). Thanks Colin!
