HaikuPorts and HaikuPorter are separate projects, though they are
certainly connected, from Haiku itself. They require a very different
set of knowledge than Haiku itself does to work with. I believe I told
you at the time that commit access to them had to be earned separately
from commit access to Haiku itself through pull requests; and that a
submitting such a fix would of course count towards this.
I should remember you that I had haikuports commit access well before I
even had commit access to the Haiku's repo.
Lots of the recipes here were originally mentored by me in GCI well before
I mentored you at GCI.
Some of those recipes, were even written by me, and I'm talking of a time
when haikuports was still under svn.
So yeah, in some sense I'm a founder at haikuports, at least a very early
contributor.
You eventually did submit the pull request and it was merged within an
hour. What was the problem here? Why are you bringing this up two
years later, as if there is some grudge to hold?
Here it seems you mix two different episodes. During my contract I
submitted a pull request for the live555 recipe, with explictly written on
it "Leave this pull open until tomorrow so that people can review it", 2-3
hours after opening it, you merged it.
Then there's a second episode, where I asked commit access to the
haikuporter repo, and a third person having commit access said "give him
commit acces, he did more than me" and you had to give me it in the end.
