I think we need to consider moving some of our less-critical infrastructure
off of baron and onto shared hosting or cloud services.
I seem to recall Alex saying that Discourse approved us for a free
instance of the usually-$100/mo "Standard" plan

it the Business plan?). Either way, it's an option that we can
consider using (I think that'd be best, really.)
We haven't imported blog comments yet though. We'd need to do that
before we switched completely.
