Traffic really isn't the problem - that's cheap. What is a problem is that 
serving a ticket triggers Trac to execute hundreds of SQL queries (most of 
which are apparently the same), causing load on the VM and increased use of 
memory.

I suppose I might just have to do for vmdev what I have done for vmweb (i.e. 
do some benchmarking and improve the setup gradually). But first I need to 
finish the works on vmweb ...
