Does this affect us? If so, are we okay? In short: Yes, I filed the 990-N for 2009 [1] Earlier in the year, I noticed the 990-N E-postcard requirement. Basically, the 990-N or equivalent needs to be filed every year before May 15th. If for some reason we fail to file it for 3 consecutive years, game over ; we lose our 501(c)(3) status. As long as we raise less than $25,000/year, that 990-N form can be submitted online. If we raise more than that,(which i hope happens sooner than later) a different and more complicated form needs to be filed. Thanks for checking though! --mmadia 1: http://www.irs.gov/app/ePostcard/displayEPostcard.do?dispatchMethod=displayInfo&ePostcardId=681150&ein=200105056&ein1=&resultsPerPage=10&isDescending=false&indexOfFirstRow=0&dispatchMethod=search&country=US&nameSearchTypeStarts=false&names=haiku
