Am 22/03/2016 um 12:42 schrieb Akshay Jaggi:

I was thinking of an iterative-incremental process, where somewhere down
the line, when my contribution becomes significant, I'm given commit
access to the official git repository. I'll work off a branch, and
regularly send pull requests which can easily be reviewed (instead of
reviewing the whole project at the end which can become a lot of work);
and as and when they become mature enough we can move forward with git
access.

Sounds fine to me.
I'd like to add that I would also volunteer to do code reviews, though I'm completely ingenuous when it comes to USB -- and my time is very limited, too, so it probably won't happen too often or early.

Bye,
   Axel.
