OK,
what about " and ´. In Finnish texts we use Unicode U+201D instead of
U+0022 and U+2019 instead of U+0027. In other translation projects
(for example, translationproject.org) \" is used in source texts and I
have replaced it with U+201D without problems. But here we have \\"
and if I replace it with U+201D, then translation is flagged red
I'd say in general, the checks can be dismissed when they flag something
that is not a mistake. The example you are giving here now also seems to be
a case where there is no problem in the translation. While doing the Dutch
translations, I have dismissed various checks.
I would say that the checks should be understood as potential errors, which
can be safely dismissed when you are sure they don't apply.

Niels
