For now can you help with this one question which a lot of people have been
asking me and I have little experience to comment on it (maybe down the
road I'll have an answer to it, but presently don't) : Can the DRM drivers
be packaged as a separate package which the users can install if they want
to, or is it too tied to the kernel that it has to be included in the main
tree?

Do you have an answer? (given you started working on it)
