Good morning!
Thanks to the hard work of all of our sysadmin team, vmdev has now been
powered off!
Getting vmdev services (trac, git, i18n, userguide) migrated to containers on
maui has been
a huge task, and our sysadmin team has done an *awesome* job. We have
maintained
decent uptime throughout the migration.
Thanks Jessica, Niels, and waddlesplash for all the hard work!
Here are the statuses of the services on baron:
* vmweb - Done (drupal, hugo http routes, etc)
* Difficulty: Easy (as of last year, mostly just http redirects to hugo)
* vmdev - Done (trac, git, i18n, userguide)
* Difficulty: Hard Git hooks, trac, lots of automation.
* vmsite - TODO (discourse + forums)
* Difficulty: Easy Discourse is released as a container, vmsite is a manual
install.
* vmpkg - TODO (Haikuports Buildmaster)
* Difficulty: Hard Lots of scripts which run by hooks. No central management
service.
* Test: I have a placeholder on http://build.haiku-os.org for front ends(?).
* vmrepo - TODO (packages.haiku-os.org, haiku depot)
* Difficulty: Moderate -
* baron - WIP (buildbot, misc stuff)
* Difficulty: Moderate - 80% complete. Updated buildbot python code.
* Test: http://build.haiku-os.org ;(not yet building artifacts we use)
