Hi, i've resumed some work on sample code/demos. I've got some code almost repository ready for DirectWindow drawing and audio filters that would complete previous work on opengl (haiku3d). I'm now wondering how does it fit in our repo. Demos and sample code are very different things. Sample code must focus on one aspect of the API and be easily reusable without unnecessary code, while Demos are meant to impress the user with fancy stuff. Those are quite opposed goals in fact, and i'm often torn between the two :) So what about having a sample code directory in the repo? Maybe in the docs dir? Another somewhat related question is about demos with external dependencies? Better use an external repo and make an optional package?

Regards,
Alex
