When I build while booted from the MacBook Pro, I'd like to build and run the build tool test suits. Is there a Jam target for that? Is there a single Jam target that will run all the suites for tools that provide test suites, or do I need multiple Jam targets? Can I make the building and running of the tests a target in my UserBuildConfig? I'm getting ready to make Haiku work out-of-the box on the Early 2006 Apple MacBook Pro, model identifer MacBookPro1,1. It mostly works but there are some problems. Neither ethernet nor wireless networking work. The Radeon X1600 video is not recognized so VESA video is used instead. Because the screen has a native resolution of 1440 by 900, which is not one of the VESA resolutions, everything is real blurry, but I expect this will be very simple to fix. There are lots of reports that the built-in keyboard does not work. Mine works fine, so whatever that problem was has apparently been fixed. However there is no SysRq key so I have to use an external USB keyboard to get into KDL. Would it be possible to make some other key that my unit does have enter KDL? How about the power key? To actually power the unit off with it, I have to hold it down for five seconds. Maybe just tapping it could be used to get into KDL. Also Macs haven't had serial ports since the first iMac shipped. Is there some alternative way to get serial port debug output? I could use a USB to Serial Converter, but that would require a USB driver in the debugger. How about ethernet? Just dumping raw frames out the ethernet port to a broadcast address would not be hard. If the protocol number was not one of the ones that are already defined, it would not interfere with anyone else's networking. Extra cool would be two-machine debugging over ethernet or, as Mac OS X can do, FireWire. Thanks!
